What is Intensif RF Microneedling

The Intensif’s non-insulated gold needles, together with EndyMed’s exclusive Fractional Pulse Mode technology, generate more heat safely into the dermis for better collagen remodeling, with significantly higher heating offered than insulated needles.

Intensif RF Microneedling Benefits

It’s the perfect solution for treating acne, acne scars, stretch marks, deep wrinkles and improving skin texture. Intensif treatments provide visible results, with continual skin improvement well after the completion of treatments. The Intensif’s unique needles require fewer passes per treatment, for shorter treatment times and greater patient comfort. It also has a quick treatment recovery time, with no bleeding or bruising.

Add On PRP To Microneedling

Microneedling with PRP uses the power of your blood’s platelets to revitalize skin and encourage cellular turnover. Platelets have the ability to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This unique facial can help repair skin issues, including uneven skin tone, wrinkles and fine lines, dull complexion, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. PRP treatments can be added to any microneedling treatment.

Add On Hyaluronic Acid Fillers To Microneedling

Hyaluronic acid fillers can also be used with microneedling. Hyaluronic acid helps with smoothing out lines around the nose and mouth, restoring volume to sunken cheeks or temples, diminishing vertical lip lines or plump lips, smoothing chin creases, and improving facial symmetry.

How Intensif RF Microneedling Works

The Intensif’s high precision needle depth, adjustable and ranging from 0.5mm to 5mm, provides the most effective treatment strength suitable to the particular treatment area.

Though most people are great candidates for micro needling and can be treated very successfully, there are certain people with pre-existing conditions that may keep them from being candidates for this service.  The following contraindications will eliminate someone as a candidate for a micro needling procedure: Hemophilia, Skin Diseases, Eczema, Autoimmune Diseases, Allergies, History of Cold Sores, History or Tendency to Keloid Scar, History of Cancers, Acute Infections, Broken or Bleeding Scabs.

No. We use medical, prescription strength numbing cream to minimize or eliminate any type of discomfort for our micro needling procedures. Therefore, no pain is experienced. Some may report a mild sensitivity around the orbital region. However, this is very temporary and quickly resolved once the micro needle pen device moves onto a less sensitive area.

Since we numb for this procedure, we include the numbing time. Numbing time is about 20-30 minutes and the actual micro needling process itself usually takes about 15-30 minutes, depending on skin thickness, areas being treated, and any target issues. In short, the average total treatment time for a micro needling session is one hour.

There is very minimal downtime with micro needling. However, you can expect to have 1-3 days of pink skin and some sensitivity. There will most likely be pinpoint bleeding during the treatment, which will stop almost immediately. The skin tends to take a day or two to flake off, revealing a fresh, glowing, brighter layer of new skin. It is advised that you stay away from the sun and avoid strenuous exercise, sweating, and pollution for 1-2 weeks following treatment. Additionally, it is advised that hot showers, baths, hot-tubs and saunas are avoided for about two weeks after Micro Needling as well.

Micro needling is a professional procedure that is performed in a board-certified doctor’s office only. In an effort to save money, some people might opt for home rollers instead. Unlike professional micro needling done by a licensed medical professional, rollers do not puncture the skin hardly at all. While this might seem a less painful option, you will not achieve the same results. The punctures made during professional micro needling are designed to induce collagen production and skin rejuvenation. With a roller device, you may achieve brighter skin at best, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. If you’re interested in more dramatic, long-term results, micro needling is a much better option than a store-bought roller device.

Success Stories

Overall worth it. I’ve heard you should get them consecutively 4-5 weeks apart, I am going to try doing that and will post more.. I’ve so far had one and am happy with the results. My pores do look smaller and notice my skin looks healthier and clearer. It stimulates collagen and heals your skin inside out. It’s best to get 4 or 5 of them in a row. My skin was only red for 1 day and then evening of the procedure. I’ve seen others have red faces for a week. My skin peeled and was completely back to normal, peeling gone, after 1 week.

Microneedle Testimonial

I have "ok" skin. I am very proactive and use Vitamin C serums, RetinA, and hydroquinone but still didn't have that flawless skin without makeup. Also, my pores are on the larger side. I had the microneedling radiofrequency procedure performed and bought a package of 3. After only 1 treatment, I already see a huge improvement! My skin is plumber and looks flushed, and my pore size is quickly diminishing. Of note, I did ask them to be more invasive and go at a deeper depth with the needle (2.5mm) and the downtime was longer than expected-for about 5 days, I had blotchy red spots and did break out a but over my chin and lip area. This all went away after about 5 days, though.
